Saiaastha Singh joined our Academy as an absolute beginner in August 2022 & within 1 year 3 months, she became 1st Runner Up in Girls Section at 37th National Under-7 Open and Girls Champions 2024 by scoring 7.5 / 9 points. The tournament was organized by MM CHESS DEVELOPMENT TRUST (R)at Mysuru , Karnataka on 1-5th Sept 2024. She is only 6 years old, not 7 years. Ayanshi Sengupta joined our Academy as an absolute beginner in August 2022 & within 1 year she became Under 7 Girls State Champion of the year 2023 by winning all her games. The tournament was organized by SBDS at Kolkata on 4-6th August 2023. She represents West Bengal in the National Under 7 Open & Girls Chess Championship – 2023.
Sayan Bhattacharjee joined our Academy in March 2023 as an unrated player. After two months of joining, he got his FIDE Rating - 1069 in May at Kolkata. In Jan 2024, he played the 2 Rating Tournament at Kharagpur (1st Edition Tracks of Strategy) where he increased his 134 Elo rating & at Kolkata (2nd War of Knights) where he increased his 84 Elo rating. He increases 218 Elo Rating points within 1 month ( Jan 2024 ). He got prizes in both events.
Himadri Bhandari got his FIDERating – 1112 in May at Kolkata. He increases 22 Elo Rating in 60th State Championship in July and 38 Elo Rating in Jan , 2024 by playing at Kharagpur ( 1st Edition Tracks of Strategy ) & at Kolkata ( 2nd war of Knights ). He got prizes in both the events.
Upayan Dey : In January 2024, He achieved a notable milestone in his chess career by earning a FIDE rating of 1129 during a tournament held in Kolkata. His impressive performance in this event earned him the Main Prize at the 2nd War of Knights Rating Event. This accomplishment not only highlights his skill and dedication but also marks a significant step forward in his competitive chess journey.
