The preparations started with bringing the Saraswati Pratima. On the day before the Puja, the academy was closed so the students could prepare. They cleaned every room, the reception area, and the outside spaces.
They then cleaned and organized the chairs and tables, setting them aside to make room for decorations. Everyone had a role, and they helped each other, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
The Puja commenced promptly at 10:00 am, with students, parents, and teachers gathering in the academy. At 10:30 am, the melodious chanting of Vedic hymns marked the beginning of the Pushpanjali ceremony.
Students offered vibrant flowers and prayers to Goddess Saraswati, seeking her blessings for wisdom and success in their lives. Many students came early on the day of the Puja and stayed for a long time.
The Purohit conducted the Puja with great devotion. The academy became vibrant and colourful as everyone wore bright, festive attire. The students were particularly excited about arranging the Bhog distribution after the Puja. They not only served everyone but also packed Bhog for those who wanted to take it home. Everyone enjoyed the day immensely, with the Bhog being particularly tasty and creating many memorable moments. This year’s theme was chess, adding a unique flavour to the celebrations. After all the festivities, the students were responsible for packing up and returning the academy to its normal state. They even came back the next day to clean up again, ensuring everything was in order.
Every year, students eagerly await the Puja. Those involved in the preparations often spend the whole day at the academy, soaking in the festive spirit. The academy was open to all students that day, providing a space for celebration and community.
Thank you all for everything.
